• Property owners who construct homes, additions to homes, barns, storage sheds, and other outdoor structures or accessory buildings are required to obtain a permit from the Zoning Department.  Outdoor structures include swimming pools, fences, porches, decks, and signs.
• Commercial buildings, signs and other structures also require permits.  Please refer to the Zoning Department Page.
• Permits may take up to 30 days for issuance.  Application forms may be obtained by contacting the Zoning Inspector by e-mail at libertytownshipzi@gmail.com or call 740-564-6108. Please include your name, address, telephone number and reason for your request.
• Zoning permit applications are received by appointment only.  A copy of the zoning resolution, map and application procedures are on the Zoning Department Page
• As always, before you start something please research and/or contact the Liberty Township Zoning Inspector.
