The Liberty Township Trustees and the Village of Baltimore will meet on Tuesday May 6th at 6PM at the Liberty Township Administration Office to discuss future cooperation of land use and development between the Village and the Township.

The Liberty Township Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday May 13,2025 to hear multiple amendments/additions to the Zoning Resolution. The Public Hearing will be held at the Liberty Township Administrative Building, 2095 Reynoldsburg-Baltimore Road Baltimore, Ohio 43105 and will begin at 8:00  PM. All records pertaining to this hearing are considered public record and are available for viewing by contacting the Liberty Township Secretary @ 740-862-6691 or emailing  libertytownshipsecretary@gmail.com.

• Property owners who construct homes, additions to homes, barns, storage sheds, and other outdoor structures or accessory buildings are required to obtain a permit from the Zoning Department.  Outdoor structures include swimming pools, fences, porches, decks, and signs.
• Commercial buildings, signs and other structures also require permits.  Please refer to the Zoning Department Page.
• Permits may take up to 30 days for issuance.  Application forms may be obtained by contacting the Zoning Inspector by e-mail at libertytownshipzi@gmail.com or call 740-564-6108. Please include your name, address, telephone number and reason for your request.
• Zoning permit applications are received by appointment only.  A copy of the zoning resolution, map and application procedures are on the Zoning Department Page
• As always, before you start something please research and/or contact the Liberty Township Zoning Inspector.
